The 2D Guideline feature in IWD is ideal for visual merchandisers, retail planners, and store managers looking to streamline their in-store display process. Whether you're setting up a new campaign or ensuring brand consistency across multiple locations, this tool simplifies the creation, duplication, and customization of store layouts.

 

HOW TO CREATE A 2D GUIDELINE

1. Start a New Guideline: In the GUIDELINES module, click the + button and select 2D GUIDELINE.
2. Fill in the Guideline Information:
- Name, Campaign, Information, Product Catalog, Market


Using IWD PLATFORM 2D Editor

1. Select a Fixture: Choose a fixture from your catalog or create one from scratch using the TOOLBOX.
2. Place Items: Drag and drop items from the catalog onto the fixture. Only linked catalog content is available.
3. Customize Elements:
- Item: Add comments to items, like placing testers on the top shelf. Double-click to see the item's catalog folder.
- Bay: Modify dimensions, texture, and color.
- Shelf: Adjust dimensions and add an EYE or HAND to visualize the height in real life.

4. Actions on Items: Use the SELECTION menu or right-click on elements to access available actions, such as moving or editing items.

How to Duplicate a 2D Guideline

1. Open the Folder: Locate the folder where the existing guideline is stored.
2. Duplicate: Click the ⋮ next to the guideline, select DUPLICATE, and choose a folder to save the duplicate.
3. Update and Edit: Edit the guideline information sheet and make necessary changes in the editor.
4. Save Regularly: Save your work often, as it is not auto-saved. Click CLOSE when finished.
